USA Rugby Coach Development Program (CDP)


All Rugby Virginia clubs and coaches for the coming 2015 Spring & Summer seasons.

All persons who will be participating as Coaches or Assistants with Rugby Virginia teams must register with USA Rugby (CIPP) and must complete the online courses to gain Level 100 certification.

All coaches who will be a Head Coach of, or will be instructing any aspect of contact for, a tackle team must attain a Level 200 certification by attending a USA Rugby Level 200 course.

Note: Coaches who are current in their “Introducing Rugby” certification will be ‘grandfathered’ to Level 200.  These coaches will need to register and complete the online course to attain “active” status.

A number of Level 200 Certification Courses will be given prior to the start of the 2015 season.
